The FNB NMMU Madibaz have recorded their sixth consecutive defeat when they lost to FNB Shimlas at Xerox Shimla Park in Bloemfontein on Monday evening.
The team from Port Elizabeth have been struggling to pick-up any wins since their first round victory against Ikeys.
The homeside scored two tries in the opening quarter to take a 14 - 0 lead.
Madibaz scored their first and only points on half time through a try from inside centre, Andile Jho. Thomas Kean missed the conversion as the visitors trailed 7 - 14 at the break.
Shimlas added the only points of the second half through a converted try to record a 23 - 7 win at the end.
